Collaborative Family Law or Collaborative Practice is an interdisciplinary way of resolving the issues that surround separation and divorce. It has been described as a more dignified manner of resolving issues. At the heart of Collaborative Practice is a commitment to resolving all issues without Court involvement and by focusing on each family member's interests.
Collaborative Practice may involve lawyers, financial neutrals, and family professionals. Each member of the team is trained in Collaborative Practice.
